Our stay at Dunas Tatacoa was a delightful blend of luxury and wild desert adventure. The room, resembling a spacious tent, provided cozy comfort with its little air conditioner that we had to switch off due to the refreshing coolness. Breakfast greeted us with a spread of fresh fruits and surprisingly good coffee, a perfect start to our days of exploration.One of the highlights was the observatory experience arranged by the attentive staff, where we marveled at the starlit desert skies. The shared bathroom facilities were always impeccably clean, and the small onsite store came in handy for late-night snacks and beverages. The clean pool beckoned us after daytime desert explorations, offering a welcomed reprieve from the scorching sun.The tour guide, Yaison, was a wealth of knowledge about the area, adding depth to our desert adventures. The location just beyond Villavieja made it convenient for strolls into town for local cuisine, though lacking cooking facilities. The tents featured electricity sockets and Wi-Fi, blending comfort with the raw beauty of the desert surroundings.For a tranquil escape intertwined with nature's wonders, Dunas Tatacoa was a perfect choice. The peaceful ambiance, coupled with the well-maintained facilities and attentive service, made our stay unforgettable.
